Sun Holidays Days Out Customer Terms and Conditions                                  

These terms and conditions should be read carefully and any queries relating to them should be raised with us by contacting us at http://help.thesun.co.uk/

  1. The Sun Holidays Days Out promotion is open to residents of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
  2. The promotion allows customers to enjoy discounted Days Out.
  3. Offers vary from venue to venue:
  • 2-for-1 Offer – one free ticket/entrance will be given when a standard price single ticket/entrance fee is purchased. For each pair of tickets/entrance fees purchased at the standard price shown, the ticket/entrance fee of equal to or lesser value will be offered for free. A maximum of 2 free places will be given for up to 4 tickets/entrance fees purchased at the same time.
  • 50% off – participating venues must offer 50% off ticket or entry fees
  • 25% off – participating venues must offer 25% off ticket or entry fees
  • 10% off – participating venues must offer 10% off ticket or entry fees
  • Kids Go Free Offer – participating venues must offer one free child place per full paying adult to those readers who present a verification voucher during the offer period. A maximum of 2 free places will be given for up to 4 tickets/entrance fees purchased at the same time.

  2. The website allows you to search a full list of participating venues by area and offer type.
  3. Most venues require pre-booking. You must state the offer at the time of booking.
  4. You must call the venue directly to book. When booking by phone or in person you must state that you are taking part in the Sun Holidays Days Out promotion.
  5. You must present your voucher upon arrival at your chosen day out.
  6. Please view individual venue details online prior to booking/visiting to view full details including excluded dates, and restrictions.
  7. If, when booking, the venue you wish to attend is full, the venue will make every reasonable attempt to offer an alternative date.
  8. One voucher will allow a maximum of 2 people to take up the offer.
  9. Age restrictions may apply, please check before booking.
  10. Please advise the venue of any access requirements before booking to ensure they can cater for your every need.
  11. Some theatre performances may include strobe lighting. Please advise the operator of your requirements before booking.
  12. The offers as described above may not be honoured if you do not declare that you are a Sun Holiday booker and present your voucher upon booking/arrival.
  13. Participating venues may offer one or more promotional offers, at any one time. To view all available offers please refer to the venue listings
  14. Sun Holidays Days Out promotion vouchers can be used for redemption against multiple days out.
  15. There are no restrictions on the number of times you can book days out as part of the offer during the offer validity period, although some venues may carry their own individual terms and conditions, please check at the time of payment and/or vouchers must be presented to a member of staff when arriving at the venue for your day out.
  16. If you do not present your voucher upon arrival the venue is entitled to charge you full rate card tariff.
  17. Photocopied, counterfeits, other reproductions or defaced vouchers will not be accepted.
  18. Responsibility cannot be accepted by The Sun for lost, damaged or destroyed vouchers. It is entirely at the venues discretion whether to accept damaged or defaced vouchers.
  19. To redeem, click PRINT for your Sun Holidays Days Out voucher and present upon arrival at the venue.
  20. There are no cash alternatives available.
  21. Exchanges, refunds or any other changes to your booking are entirely at the discretion of the manager/venue.
  22. Conduct of entry: entrants of the promotion agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  23. Whilst we make every effort to ensure all details printed in the paper and online are correct, The Sun cannot be held responsible for errors and omissions. All details have been supplied by the participating venues and are believed to be correct at time of launch.
  24. Neither the promoter, nor its agents, can be responsible for any discrepancies, inaccuracies or misconceptions given or constructed
  25. Any dispute or complaint must, in the first instance, be brought to the attention of the participating venue. The promoter is happy to investigate any unresolved complaints. However, it cannot be held responsible for the actions of individual venues.
  26. The Sun does not own or operate any of the third party venues participating in this offer.
  27. Offers in the Sun Holidays Days Out promotion are organized by independent third party venues. Your contract will be with the owner or operator of the venue and comes into effect when a booking/payment has been made.
  28. Offers will cease to be available if any individual venue changes ownership or goes into receivership after the launch of the campaign unless decided otherwise at the discretion of the new management of that venue.
  29. Limitations of liability: neither the promoter nor the promotional parties assume any liability for.
  30. The promoter’s reserve the right to vary or amend offers and the Sun Holiday booker agrees that no liability shall attach to the promoter as a result thereof.
  • Inaccessibility or unavailability of the internet or the website or any combined thereof.
  • Unforeseen cancellation of booking due to reasons outside of the promoter’s control.
  • Any injury or damage at your chosen venue. Insurance is recommended.
  • Regretfully the promoter cannot be held responsible for any third parties.
  1. The promoter is responsible for the first part of the offer that is provision of the offer. All other facilities connected with this offer are contributed by, and are the responsibility of the individual venues
  2. The promoter’s decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
  3. The Sun and/or GFM ClearComms may be in touch to conduct email or telephone interviews after the promotion.
